Thomas Hector Simmonds(1906~1971)

Thomas Hector Simmonds, the son of Asaph Simmonds and Edith Ellen Parish was born on the 10th March 1906 in Martley, Worcestershire. He was a boot and shoe repairer working with his brother Pelham for most of his life but for the last 12 years or so he was a brewer at Holbrooks vinegar works in Stourport-on-Severn.

He married Ada Richmond and together they had one child:

• David Brian Simmonds (b1937)

Thomas died on the 17th June 1971 aged 65 years in Areley Kings and was buried in the parish church of St. Bartholomew.
